Vusi Phailane

Vusi James Phailane, a registered professional architect with SACAP, brings extensive expertise to the field. He served as a council member for SACAP’s 5th term, chairing the Identification of Work committee (IDOW). Vusi holds a Master of Science in Building Project Management from the University of the Witwatersrand (2021). He also obtained a Master’s degree in Architecture (MArch. Professional, 2008), a Bachelor of Architectural Studies with Honours (BArch. Honours, 2006), and a Bachelor of Architectural Studies (BAS, 2004) from the University of the Witwatersrand. Additionally, Vusi enriched his knowledge through participation in the WISH Workshop on International Social Housing at Universita della Svizzera Italiana, Mendrisio, Switzerland (2006).
